JontaKam is a personal brand established in October 2022, and in 2025 it has grown to offer career development, public speaking, and writing services. The platform features a curated portfolio, blog content, and professional resources focused on public health and African development.

Role Overview
I am seeking a self-motivated individual to join me in managing JontaKam's social media presence. As the brand owner, I will provide direct mentorship while offering hands-on experience in digital marketing and personal brand development. This role presents an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio while receiving one-on-one guidance in professional development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule monthly content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, BlueSky using provided templates

• Design engaging social media graphics using Canva and other tools

• Ensure accessibility on social media including captions, alternative text

• Support general administrative tasks where needed such as conducting research, writing or scheduling blog posts

• Other responsibilities may rise given this is a small brand

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience in social media management or digital marketing

• Demonstrated proficiency with Canva and social media platforms

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and remotely

• Portfolio of social media content (preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Squarespace and Buffer

• Basic video editing capabilities

• Interest in public health and African development

• Content writing experience

• Located in Eastern Time Zone
